About Angela

MPH, CDC Certified Divorce Coach

Angela is a certified Divorce Coach through the CDC Coaching Program as well as a Certified ParentTeam Expert. Her training also draws from King County Collaborative Law and the mentorship of Anne Robinson Lucas.

After 20 years of working in public health, and then experiencing a high conflict divorce, Angela’s mission is to help families approach divorce with less fear, conflict, and heartache in order to emerge with healthier co-parenting dynamics.

Angela also serves as a court-appointed advocate for families through King County's Family Law CASA and is a member of Cascadia Collaborative Divorce. She holds a Masters in Public Health degree from the University of California Berkeley and BA in Economics from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon.

In addition to her coaching practice, Angela continues to do a bit of website design (a past career) and loves setting new entrepreneurs up for success by helping them establish a web presence. She also teaches aerial silks as her creative passion and is raising her 6 year old daughter as part of a beautiful blended family.

My Style

Every divorce looks as unique as the people that are involved. So I lead with deep listening and empathy and tune in to my clients so that I can really see each person as an individual. I believe that the biggest benefits of coaching come through deeper connections and learning habits over time, so I encourage my clients to commit to working together for several sessions. At the same time, I understand the fluctuations of life, especially during a divorce. Sometimes we need support immediately and repeatedly, sometimes we can fly on our own for a bit. I try to make myself available for sessions within 1-3 business days and available by text or email on a daily basis because I know that time often matters.

If you'd like to get to know me, please book a complimentary 15 minute consultation on my calendar. Or if you are ready to dive in, schedule a 55 minute session, either virtual or in person at my office in Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood!

My Process

Together, we'll keep you moving forward:

One

First, we'll clarify your goals and vision for the future and the challenges & obstacles you're seeing.

Two

Then, we'll come up with a plan to address every challenge and review my Divorce Checklist to make sure nothing is forgotten. I'll hold you accountable to your plan and cheer you on!

Three

And along the way, I'll help you build up the right team of experts to support you in all areas.
